Collected here are various graphics and logos I have made in the past few years.
I created it for the Wilfrid Laurier University Science Fiction And Fantasy Club (Skiffy) in September 1997. I hope to follow it up with wav files and eventually a short film.
This was a quick creation of mine for a one-time graphics contest between me and an ICQ friend in New Zealand in January 1998.
Canadian Basketball Team Logos
Click on each thumbnail to view a much larger image. These were created during the Toronto NBA Expansion contest where the team was accepting potential names for the franchise. I was inspired to not only create logos for Toronto and Vancouver, but also Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec, Regina and Winnipeg, bringing it to a total of 10 teams. Needless to say I did not win, but I receieved many compliments from those who have seen them as well as very high grades, since these were done in an art class.
A couple of notes: These are scans of watercolour paintings from early 1996 and have been retouched somewhat to enhance the visuals. In the case of Ottawa and Regina, little retouching has been done since the original look of the logos must be maintained, while nearly all of Toronto and Edmonton have received retouches to enhance them. Lastly, I would have made Vancouver the Mounties instead of the Dragons, but couldn't come up with a logo that I felt was better then the finalized Dragons one within the deadline imposed by the art teacher.
